Hydrema

For technological and logistical reasons, Hydrema in Støvring decided in 2022 to permanently discontinue its in-house hydraulic pipe bending operations.

Not only had our demand increased significantly, but one of our factories is located in Germany, so from a logistical standpoint, it is challenging to deliver this type of product over such long distances. For years, we had established partnerships with some of the largest suppliers in this field, primarily German ones.

The problem was that the big companies weren’t open to small production runs, high flexibility, prototypes—in short, all the unconventional stuff. That is why we were unable to close our pipe-bending center.

It wasn’t until 2022 that Torben from TJ Technology knocked on our door and offered his services. TJ Technology has

precisely that understanding of the complexity of the tasks, the flexibility regarding short life spare parts lead times (which were a key factor for us), the ability to resolve issues when problems arose on our production lines, etc.
TJ Technology was willing to follow Hydrema’s lead regarding to use the same

the quality of our raw materials and our leak-proof fittings, ensuring consistency across all our pipes.

In short, TJ Technology became an extension of Hydrema—almost like having our own pipe-bending center, just 50 km southwest of Støvring.

TJ Technology is now an indispensable partner that we greatly value.
